Tips for band promotional photography - (President III)

You prepare well, you came early in the session, overcoming unforeseen difficulties, and now you find yourself with dozens of photographs of the band in question What happens now?

Photoshp yes or no - or any other editing program. It seems like a never ending discussion. For most post-editing is part of the creative aspect of photography. In these cases the photographer usually know exactly how you want the finished product looks, and to achieve this result are the times when it is necessary to draw on one of these programs, which are not. That does not mean that every photograph should be extremely retouched. From our humble opinion, the post-processing programs should be used in moderation, creative, and how to improve what already is good - not to correct errors that could have been avoided at the time of shooting.

Shows only a small selection . Take away and rest your eyes. Then go back to see the final results as if for the first time, and selects the best 10 shots to show. You will have time to see more pictures when you send your CD or DVD with them, it is not necessary that all at once see you there. What generates this pre-selection is well predispose to your customers, so they see the rest of your work under a glass of doubt or negativity.

Remember that these are just some guidelines on how to address this type of shot if the opportunity arises you do so. With time and practice can you develop your own methods with some variations, and is fine, since there is a only correct way of doing things. That is why we now seek the views of those who enjoy this type of photography, what other items would add to these posts? What would you say to those who face this challenge first?
